Privacology.com was founded in early 2013 by two “old school” privacy enthusiasts – Dennis Dayman and Tom Bartel.
The vision? A resource for increasing “privacy intelligence”, through a website portal and other means, by bringing together thoughts, insights and exploration into all things privacy, security and trust online.
Why? There is a tidal wave of information in these areas. The internet economy combined with technology continues to advance and make day-to-day living online both useful, convenient, exciting – and dangerous.
Seriously. Keeping up to date on privacy issues is hard – too much happens too fast, too much to parse through…
So, we’re here to help! Privacology.com offers fresh commentary on the latest issues from the most relevant industry knowledge experts in privacy and security today. As a news and commentary aggregation site, no one brings this information together today in the way Privacology does, allowing readers to stay abreast and informed of key issues efficiently, spending the least amount of time possible researching and becoming informed.
What’s Next? We also intend to post job listings, resources, and industry events – all things you don’t want to miss out on – but need an easy and convenient source for.
Stay tuned – and welcome to Privacology.com!
